Radio Mekete is an all-volunteer, locally based, access-to-all community radio station. It was created to promote community- oriented commercial and public radio broadcasting. Radio Mekete's mission is educating the public about events occuring in the local Eritrean community as well as discussing topics of events affecting our homeland. We strive to create a unique community resource, one that promotes connections and fosters a sense of belonging. Our focus is sharing music, arts, culture, news and opinions; and serving the people of our community by providing outlets for their creative skills and energies.
